German anti-Islam activist Udo Ulfkotte, a writer and journalist, has first-hand experience of Islam and he is convinced that the non-Muslims in Europe will soon rise up and violently object to being over-run and dominated by Muslims. They will say "That's enough - no more". He believes that the ultimate solution is for Muslim immigrants who are refusing to integrate to be forced to go back to where they came from. He says that the European culture and Islamic culture cannot live together so they must separate and live in separate countries. He believes that the war between the Islamic culture and western culture will be won - but it will be violent.
There is a growing tide of opinion in Europe that agrees with him. Islam is not just a religion - it is an ideology like Nazism and Communism. Recent statements by German Chancellor Merkel and election wins in Sweden and the Netherlands support this contention. Fortunately for Canada, most of our Muslims (but not all) reject large parts of the Qur'an much like many Christians reject large parts of the Bible. But comments by President Obama that "Islam is a great religion" show a gross misunderstanding of it. (More on this point here) It is not just extremists going off at a tangent - these "extremists" are following the edicts of their religion! Their religion is the problem! Or perhaps I should say, their literal interpretation of it is the problem.
Ulfkotte was interviewed in English and clearly explained the problem.
I would add a comment - when (not if) the revolt takes place, there will be a large number of Muslim refugees heading for places like Canada. I would be in favour of accepting truly moderate Muslims - that is, Muslims who reject much of the Qur'an. But separating them from those who should be going back to Turkey, Pakistan or Iran (etc) will not be easy. We should either solve that problem, accept none of them or strictly enforce any breaking of commitments to integrate. (That will be a first!) The long term solution of a dissolution of all religions is not going to happen for centuries - meanwhile the world is in for some upheaval.
I know many Candian Muslims who would take grave offense at you implying they reject portions of the Quran, exactly which portions do we reject. We may not interpret it the way you have chosen to but no Muslim rejects any portion of the Quran.
