Ethics and Morality

Theists would have us believe that god is needed for us to know the difference between right and wrong.  If that were true, then based on history, we'd have to reject that brand of morality.  Fortunately, following the age-old adage of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is a simple rule that allows the development of most ethics.  And this was first recorded well before Jesus was born.
